Residential Moving in San Diego
Ask about residential moving

A whole-household move, planned as one job
Residential moving covers houses, apartments, condos, and townhomes, and it works best when most of the home is going to the same next address. The plan is built around your contents — rooms, furniture, boxes — and the route each piece has to travel.
A one-bedroom apartment and a three-story house are both residential moves. What changes the work is the room count, the access route, and the item list — the three things that also change the estimate.
The size of the whole job is the simplest distinction
Residential moving is for a household: most or all of a home’s contents. Small moves cover a studio, one room, or a short list of named pieces.
If you are moving the whole home, this is the right page. If you are moving a bedroom and a sofa, the small-moves page gets you a tighter quote. If the inventory is an apartment with elevators and building rules, see apartment and condo moving.

Our truck and driver, or your rental
Residential moves run in two arrangements:
- Full-service: our truck, our driver, and the crew — loading, transport, unloading, and placement come from one team.
- Labor-only: you have a rental truck, trailer, or portable container arranged, and the crew handles the physical work while you handle the transportation.
State your setup when you request the quote so the estimate reflects the right service.
Describe the home, access, and main furniture
Request a callback and walk the coordinator through the household: a room-by-room list, the addresses, access notes — stairs, elevators, long carries, parking limits, gates — your preferred date, and the transportation plan. Photos of tight doorways help for large pieces.
The written estimate spells out the crew, the charging method, the minimum time, travel, and approved extras, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

Request a residential estimate
Leave your first name, last name, email, and phone number. A coordinator calls you back to plan the move and check available dates.
Frequently asked questions
Do you provide the truck for residential moves?
Yes — full-service residential moves include a moving truck and driver. If you book moving labor, the rental vehicle or portable container stays under your arrangement and the crew handles the physical work.
Can you move just part of my house?
Yes. Many residential moves are partial: a few pieces or a few rooms going to the new home. Tell us exactly what is on the list, and if the job is a handful of named pieces, small moves may fit better.
What changes the quote on a residential move?
Room count, access route, and item list. A one-bedroom apartment and a three-story house are both residential moves, but stairs, elevators, long carries, and parking change the plan — which is why the written estimate covers crew size, charging method, minimum, travel, and extras before you book.
