MOVING QUESTIONS

Answers before you book

Who provides the truck?

The truck and driver come from us on a full-service local move: the crew loads, transports, unloads, and places the items. For labor-only moves, you arrange the truck or portable container and its transportation; the crew handles the physical work.

What is moving labor, exactly?

Moving labor supplies the crew for the heavy parts: carrying boxes, furniture, and appliances; loading and unloading a vehicle; and placing items where you want them. You stay in control of the vehicle, the route, and the schedule.

What equipment and supplies come with the crew?

The crew brings moving dollies, furniture pads, and moving blankets for standard protection, and the packing materials for the agreed work are included in the price. If a basic bed or table needs to come apart, the crew handles it within the regular paid time.

What access details matter at the property?

Tell us about stairs, elevators, narrow halls, long walkways, parking limits, gates, and any move-in window set by a landlord or HOA. For a two-address move, describe the route at both ends. This is information you provide — not a permit we assume.

How quickly will you call back?

Within one business day, Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm. If your move is urgent, call (800) 481-4049 instead — a coordinator checks the day’s schedule with you on the spot.

How are estimates and booking handled?

Your written quote covers the crew, the rate structure, the minimum time, the travel charge, and any work added to the request. Once the request arrives, we call or email within one business day (Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm) to fill in the details and discuss timing. Nothing is reserved until the terms and the date are confirmed.

Which cities do you serve?

San Diego is the primary service area, and the crew works the listed cities for local origin-to-destination moves. Travel charges, when they apply, are itemized in the estimate. City pages describe local service; they do not mean a crew is parked in every city.

Can I request loading or unloading only?

Yes. That is labor-only work: the truck, trailer, or portable container stays under your arrangement, and the crew handles one end or both. Tell us which end needs help and the estimate covers exactly that.

What is the difference between local and residential moving?

Local moving describes the route between two addresses; residential moving describes the household inventory being moved. Most residential moves are also local moves, and the coordinator sorts out which page of the estimate each detail belongs on.

What if my move is urgent?

Call (800) 481-4049 to check current availability. An urgent request gets a real answer about the schedule — it does not guarantee that a crew can be arranged.
