Loading and Unloading Help for the Truck You Already Arranged
Ask about loading & unloading

Choose loading, unloading, or both
Loading only: the crew starts at an empty truck, trailer, or container and carries the agreed items from the building into it.
Unloading only: the crew takes the delivered load out and places it in the rooms you name at the destination.
Both ends: loading and unloading covered in one request, with the stop order and crew arrangements confirmed before scheduling.
If your rental is self-driven, make sure a driver is available for both stops; if the rental includes a driver, the road portion belongs to that arrangement. The crew plans around the two addresses and the item list you confirm.
Prepare the items and the loading route
Have boxes packed and labeled, set aside anything that must stay with you, and clear the route to the truck or container. The loading plan accounts for weight distribution, the provider’s load limits, and protection instructions.
Leave furniture loading to the crew you booked. Tie-downs, straps, and final load-securing responsibility are agreed as part of the job — not assumed. The crew brings moving dollies, furniture pads and blankets, and standard protection; packing materials are included in the cost of the work.
When you request the job, include the vehicle type and approximate inside dimensions so the crew plans around what has to fit. If you also need carrying help beyond the vehicle, see moving labor.

Stairs, carry distance, and truck position
Stairs, elevators, gates, docks, and long carries matter as much as the number of boxes. Have these ready:
- Access: stairs, elevator size, ramps, gates, loading docks, and parking rules at both buildings
- Path and distance: narrow walkways, long hallways, tight corners, and how far the vehicle sits from the door
- Doorways: measure any oversized piece and note whether it needs to be turned or disassembled
- Destination rooms: name where the big pieces go, including upstairs rooms or a basement
- Readiness: note what is packed, what is still being sorted, and what you plan to handle yourself
Get the route ready before the crew arrives
A little positioning keeps loading day from stalling. Put the vehicle or container as close to the entrance as the site allows and make sure its doors open fully. Clear the path from each room to the door — rugs, cords, and clutter cost minutes. Label boxes by destination room so the crew can route them.
If the building requires an elevator reservation or loading approval, handle it before the crew appears. Have a contact at each stop who can answer a quick question and point out the route.

Request a callback
Leave your first name, last name, email, and phone number. A coordinator calls you back to plan the load and check available dates.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to reserve the truck before requesting loading labor?
No. You can ask about labor with a provisional vehicle type and date, then coordinate crew availability and the vehicle or container delivery before committing. On loading day the vehicle needs to be on site and accessible. For labor-only service you arrange the vehicle and its transportation; on a full-service move our truck and driver cover the transport.
Will the crew bring furniture pads and dollies?
Yes — the crew supplies dollies and standard furniture protection, including pads or blankets. Packing materials used for the agreed work are included in the price. Tie-downs and straps are agreed as part of the job, not assumed.
How will I know what loading and unloading will cost?
The written quote lists the crew size, the billing basis, the minimum, the travel charge, and optional services — everything before you book, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
